FixOnCall Ltd does not employ engineers, carry out any trade work, or accept liability for the quality, safety, or outcome of any work carried out by engineers introduced through our service.
FixOnCall Ltd ("FixOnCall", "we", "us", "our") operates as a lead generation and connection service. We provide a platform through which members of the public ("users", "callers") can be connected with independent, self-employed tradespeople ("engineers", "traders") operating in their local area.
FixOnCall is registered in England and Wales. Our registered address and company number are available on request.
We are not a plumbing company, electrical contractor, or trade business of any kind. We do not carry out, supervise, or accept responsibility for any trade work whatsoever.
When you call a FixOnCall number, your call may be connected to an independent engineer who has agreed to receive referrals from us. The connection of your call does not constitute any agreement, contract, or guarantee between FixOnCall and you regarding the provision of trade services.
Any contract for trade work is formed directly and exclusively between you and the independent engineer. FixOnCall is not a party to that contract under any circumstances.

All engineers introduced through FixOnCall are independent, self-employed tradespeople. They are not employees, agents, subcontractors, or representatives of FixOnCall Ltd in any capacity.
Where we state that engineers are Gas Safe registered, this refers to information provided to us by the engineer or verified by us at the time of onboarding. You should always verify an engineer's Gas Safe registration independently before permitting any gas work at: www.gassaferegister.co.uk
Engineers set their own pricing. Any quote, estimate, or price is provided by the engineer directly and is not set, controlled, or guaranteed by FixOnCall.
FixOnCall accepts no responsibility for:
FixOnCall does not set, control, or guarantee any pricing for trade work. All prices are determined solely by the independent engineer.
Always request a fixed written quote from the engineer before authorising any work. Do not permit work to begin without agreeing the price in advance.
References to "competitive rates" or "quotes on call" on our website are general descriptions of our service model. They do not constitute a price guarantee or a representation that any specific rate will apply.
FixOnCall does not charge callers for the connection service. Any charges you pay go directly to the engineer for their trade work.
Any reference to a "60 minute response target" or similar language on our website refers to an aim, not a guarantee. Response times depend entirely on the availability and location of independent engineers and are outside FixOnCall's control.
FixOnCall does not guarantee that an engineer will attend within any specified timeframe. We accept no liability for any loss arising from delayed or unavailable attendance.

Calls to FixOnCall numbers may be recorded for quality and training purposes. By calling, you consent to your call being recorded.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Call details may be shared with the engineer to whom your call is connected for the purpose of fulfilling your service request.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the FixOnCall service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
